An eSession with Arvs and Des

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon. Me and my wife were suppose to go to Parks and Wide Life and have a photo shoot with these two lovely couple, Arvs and Des, but opted to go to a different place because of the weather.   Arvs is my officemate and he asked us if we can help him on his pre-nuptial shoot.  As photo addicts as we are, me and my officemates said yes and would love to do a photo shoot with them.

The shoot was postponed a couple of times and the weather yesterday was not giving a good sign.  I even got a headache (sorry Arvs I did not tell you a while ago. =D), but we managed to pushed it through having faith that the weather will be better. When we got to MOA, the rain started to subside and as I started clicking my camera, my headache slowly went away.  It made me think that photography is like my medicine.  It makes me happy and I really enjoy doing it.  It is like Freddie Roach, forgetting his Parkinson's Disease while having a mitts session with Pacquiao.

Anyway, it was fun shoot and I hope Arvs and Des enjoyed it as much as I did. Congratulations Arvs and Des! =D

A special thanks to Chichiman for lending his Tamron lens.  By the way, Roni calls it Tammie (inampon na niya  bro!).  Thanks a again!

A Drink for a THORsty Fellow

Signs and signals are very important.  Things that guide us to the right way and make us aware on what is ahead of us. Living in a city can be extra chaotic without these things in our streets and avenues. Speed limits and blinking red lights tell us to slow down when we are moving too fast.  U-turns help us to correct our mistakes when we miss the right turn.  Gas station signs help us to see that we need a break.  Arrow signs and directions help us arrived in our destination.

Today my wife sent me an email about a 50% percent off frappuccino being sold at Starbucks.  Knowing that the frap is only sold from noon to 2:00 pm.  I got a hint that she is asking for a date =D.  It’s been a while since we last went out and the last time I think was 2 months ago.  We just got caught up with work, the household chores (hehehe) and visiting our families.

It is good that once in while you step on the breaks and go back to the dating stage.  It is like you are going to the nearest gas station to fill-in your gas to maintain steam for moving on.   We enjoyed each other’s company by having dinner at Figaro, talking, teasing, and telling stories.  We ended it by having fun watching the movie Thor.

Part of our life now is to watch each road sign that come across us.  We need to be there for each other to say stop, when one fails to see it and to say slow down, when one thinks that we are moving too fast.
